Volunteering is a rewarding experience that enriches both the volunteer and the community.
As a grass roots organisation, we are able to collaborate with community members or groups effect change. There are many ways that you can volunteer with us.
We encourage individuals to share their strengths, knowledge and skills for the benefit of the community.
Volunteering Opportunities
Management Committee
We are governed by a Volunteer Management Committee.
Our committee consists of 4 executive members and a minimum of 4 to 8 general members. If you want to learn more contact the office.
Courses and workshops
We regularly seek individuals to volunteer their time, knowledge and talents to run small courses or workshops at low cost to our community.
Repair Cafe
The monthly Repair Café is an opportunity for community members to bring in items for fixing. Volunteers with a range of fixing skills (sewing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry) are welcomed.
