Room Hire at Doubleview House
Our Community Centre is located in the heart of Doubleview, warm and inviting with easy access to public transport and off-street parking.

​Our facilities are well resourced and versatile, making it an ideal space for a variety of purposes, including children's parties, craft workshops, seminars and health services.
Wi-fi, kitchen facilities, tables and chairs and all included in the hire cost.

By hiring a room at our Community Centre, you are supporting local, not-for-profit organisation that is focused on developing and contributing to your community.

Children's Party Hire
Children's Party Hire
Our party facilities are available on Sundays between 1 - 5pm and are suitable for children aged up to 5 years. The indoor space suits a maximum of 30 people, with room for more in the additional play space outside.
Facilities include:

Playroom with a great selection of toys.

Undercover outside undercover play area, playground with synthetic turf and rubberised surface.

Fully equipped kitchen including fridge, stove, microwave and oven. There are also reusable plastic plates and cups, cutlery, platters, pot and appliances.

Bathroom with child's and adult's toilet, plus change table.

Foyer area with bifold doors opening onto the undercover area.

Furniture includes:

3 high chairs​

2 trestle tables

2 children's trestle tables

20 children's plastic chairs

10 outdoor plastic chairs

Cost $30 an hour including minimum 30 mins set up and 30 mins pack down time.
To book your party:

Contact us to check your preferred date is available.

If you haven't been to Doubleview House before you will need to arrange a time to visit us.

Complete a Party Hire Form and return it by email or in person. Don't forget to sign it and take a copy for your records.

Your booking will be secured once payment is made (EFTPOS available).

You will need to collect the key from our office (between 9am and noon) on the Thursday before your party.

Leave the key in the mailbox after your event.
General Room Hire
You can book the whole community centre, or course rooms section of the centre. Room capacities vary from 15 - 20 people.
Course rooms hire includes:

2 course rooms, bathroom and kitchenette (with tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge and microwave)

Private entrance from Scarborough Beach Road.

Reverse cycle air con in both course rooms.

Cost - Depending on which facilities you book; costs start at $30/hour; discounts are available for not-for-profit organisations. We will provide a full quote once we've discussed your needs.

Complete a Room Hire Form and return it to us by email or in person. Don't forget to sign it and take a copy for your records.

If it is a one-off booking, you can collect the key when making your payment (EFTPOS is available). A $20 deposit will be charged for the key.

Return the key within a week after your event to receive your key deposit.

Regular room bookings will be invoiced once a term.
